Jack Meyer, Associate, Chicago Illinois
Jack’s practice focuses on representing clients in a wide variety of workers compensation and personal injury cases. Jack has argued cases in front of the Circuit Courts and the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission. A native of the Chicago area, Jack attended college in Rhode Island and graduated from Providence College in 2012 with a B.A. in American Studies. He obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating cum laude with a pro bono notation (granted to students who complete more than 60 hours of pro bono work during their time in law school).While in law school, Jack served as the Executive Editor for the Illinois Business Law Journal.
Before joining the firm, Jack worked as a law clerk for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, and served as a sports law intern for the National Basketball Retired Players Association.

Jack has obtained numerous decisions and settlements on behalf of injured workers, including the following:

• $340,000.00 for a union machinery worker who suffered a shoulder injury which prevented him from returning to his trade.

• $175,000.00 for a construction worker who severely injured his left foot while on the job which required the amputation of all his left toes.

• $100,000.00 for a factory worker who injured his back while working and required permanent restrictions.
